Cookware Made in the USA

American made cookware is some of the highest quality and highest priced cookware on the market.  While most people are swayed by the sight of an Italian or other cultural piece of cookware, those in the know, know that for the best quality American made is the only way to go.  This is because the cookware that is manufactured in the USA has the best quality of components and the best assembly.  This is due to the high pride levels of the American worker and the American company.  However, it is very difficult to find cookware that has been manufactured in the USA.  It is so difficult that most people do not even bother looking for it even though they know the USA has such great quality cookware.

One of the main reasons for the difficulty in finding cookware that is made in America is the high price of the resulting cookware.  Most people assume that a pot is a pot and a pan is a pan.  Only those who work in the cooking fields really seem to know the difference between the minute qualities in cookware that is made in America verses cookware that is not.  Since so many people do not recognize the quality difference, the price difference appears to be simply a mark up, rather than the just payment for higher quality. 

Because so many people do not seek out the made in USA tag on their cookware, and are unwilling to pay the extra price, most stores do not carry cookware made in USA.  This may change as more Americans seek out products made in the USA.  As more people use these made in the USA cookware, they also learn of the high quality and pass this information on to their friends.  This increase in purchasing helps to increase the supply of cookware and the decrease in price.
